Methamphetamine is a powerful stimulant. It can bring a rush of energy and focus at first, followed by crashes that leave people exhausted, low and wanting to use again. Over time, many people find that meth is shaping their sleep, their mood, their relationships and their sense of safety.
Methamphetamine use disorder is a treatable health condition, not a character flaw. Behavioral treatment helps you understand what keeps the cycle going, manage cravings and rebuild a daily life with structure and support. Early recovery can take patience while sleep, energy and mood settle.
This page is for adults in Yuba City and across California who are concerned about their own meth use, and for loved ones who want to help.
If any of these sound familiar, a confidential assessment is a good place to start.

Paranoia, hallucinations or thoughts of harming yourself need urgent care. If you need more support than outpatient care can safely provide, we coordinate detox and residential care with our partner, Ona Treatment Center. ARC does not provide detox itself.
