Using Anthem Blue Cross for care at ARC
Insurance questions should not leave you guessing about how to ask for help. If you have Anthem Blue Cross, request a conversation about adult treatment at ARC and let us check the benefits and requirements of your specific plan.

Care and coverage at ARC
Our network relationship—and your individual plan
We're in network with Anthem Blue Cross for adult substance use disorder treatment, including intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) programs.
Network participation and coverage vary by plan. Confirm that your specific plan covers the recommended program and what requirements apply before treatment begins.
Discuss care and coverage together
ARC offers adult IOP in Yuba City or by telehealth and PHP for greater daily structure. The clinical recommendation and plan requirements both need to be understood. If you are unsure which program fits, start with the assessment request rather than choosing from an insurance list.
How we check your plan
Insurance details can be confusing when you are already worried about getting help. Ask us to check your specific plan rather than relying on the insurance company name alone.
Questions to clarify before treatment:
Is the recommended program covered, and what is ARC's network status for my plan?
Do I need a referral or prior authorization before starting?
If I want telehealth, does my plan cover that format?
What deductible, copayment or coinsurance may apply?
Are any approved visits or services subject to limits or further review?
A benefits check is not a guarantee of payment. Your insurer determines benefits under your plan, and treatment recommendations depend on clinical needs as well as coverage.

What happens after you reach out
You do not need to choose a program before asking for help. Select “Not sure yet” if you would like to discuss your options.
Request contact. Complete the Free, Confidential Assessment in the hero for yourself or someone you care about. Insurance information is optional.
Talk about the next step. An ARC admissions team member can discuss your concerns, practical needs and questions about care. A clinical assessment is needed to determine an appropriate treatment recommendation.
Clarify fit and coverage. Before treatment begins, confirm the recommended program, current schedule, availability and any insurance requirements or costs. If you need care ARC does not provide, discuss a more appropriate starting point.
This website form requests contact; it does not provide a diagnosis, guarantee admission or commit you to treatment. It is not an emergency service.
Questions you may be asking
No. Benefits, authorization and cost-sharing vary; verify the specific services and expected costs.
Yes. Confirm both clinical suitability and telehealth coverage for your plan.
Ask us to check it; coverage cannot be inferred from the Blue name alone.
Fine print
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of California are independent licensees of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association.
Privacy and the assessment request
The Free, Confidential Assessment requests contact from ARC's admissions team. It is not a diagnosis or an emergency service. Submitting it does not commit you to treatment, and insurance information is optional.
For information about ARC's published policies, read our Privacy Policy and Notice of Privacy Practices.
