Care and coverage at ARC

Our TRICARE relationship

Addiction Resource Center is a TRICARE West Region network provider through TriWest Healthcare Alliance for adult substance use disorder intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization treatment. TRICARE referral and prior authorization requirements depend on your plan. Network participation does not imply endorsement by the Department of Defense or the Defense Health Agency.

Understand the next step before starting

Ask which referral or authorization requirements apply to your TRICARE plan and the recommended program. A website inquiry does not replace those requirements or guarantee approval. Discuss current attendance arrangements, coverage and any costs before treatment begins.

Programs to discuss with the team

IOP offers scheduled outpatient care while you live at home; PHP offers more daily structure. A clinical assessment helps determine the appropriate recommendation. In-person and telehealth IOP arrangements should be checked for both suitability and plan coverage.

How we check your plan

Insurance details can be confusing when you are already worried about getting help. Ask us to check your specific plan rather than relying on the insurance company name alone.

Questions to clarify before treatment:

  • Is the recommended program covered, and what is ARC's network status for my plan?

  • Do I need a referral or prior authorization before starting?

  • If I want telehealth, does my plan cover that format?

  • What deductible, copayment or coinsurance may apply?

  • Are any approved visits or services subject to limits or further review?

A benefits check is not a guarantee of payment. Your insurer determines benefits under your plan, and treatment recommendations depend on clinical needs as well as coverage.

What happens after you reach out

You do not need to choose a program before asking for help. Select “Not sure yet” if you would like to discuss your options.

  1. Request contact. Complete the Free, Confidential Assessment in the hero for yourself or someone you care about. Insurance information is optional.

  2. Talk about the next step. An ARC admissions team member can discuss your concerns, practical needs and questions about care. A clinical assessment is needed to determine an appropriate treatment recommendation.

  3. Clarify fit and coverage. Before treatment begins, confirm the recommended program, current schedule, availability and any insurance requirements or costs. If you need care ARC does not provide, discuss a more appropriate starting point.

This website form requests contact; it does not provide a diagnosis, guarantee admission or commit you to treatment. It is not an emergency service.
